Ah... the monthly excuse to get up early, pack up your camera of choice and go to Cars & Coffee.

As the winter months come closer the temperature drops, and with that attendance. It wasn't quite as packed as usual, but I like that. It gives you more space to move, and there is less of a chance you miss something cool. But, as many folk know... you usually still miss something cool... At least I got the Yugo! And saw my first 2015 Mustang in the flesh. C&C always delivers!

And another thing I like about the months less traveled? Enforcement is way down... And when enforcement is down the rubber transfers from tires to the road...

Maybe it's easier to get in that way? I don't know. All I know is it was clean and sounded mean! (I'd keep the doors in the stock configuration myself, but to say it looks bad would be a disservice to the owner and the car).

Anyways, I love the supercharged copperhead viper that's there a lot, the owners is a really nice guy who couldn't love his car more and that's great. I was surprised by the ferrari turnout, especially the lack of 458's. There are usually a lot more ferraris in general... That Yugo was pretty cool, my dad actually had one for his first car so that's kinda for me. Overall a really good show. The fact that the cops were absent really helped.

Let me know if you want to meet up though. Haven't met another crazy opponaut yet

Lamborghinis have scissor doors, this is a dihedral door (same as what a McLaren 12c has). Also, this particular kit is called the Butterfly Door System and is manufactured by Guerin.

Concerning your question of "Why would someone put lambo doors on a GT," you obviously have never had someone park next to you in a GT. To put it bluntly, this kit allows you to actually park your GT anywhere without worrying that you won't be able to get in it when you return.
